Dear Parent/Carer,

 

I recently launched this year's Work Experience to year 10 and wanted to share some more information with you.

 

Work Experience will take place in the week 7-11 July 2025. Pupils need to find their own placement, either through family and friends or by contacting local companies. I spoke to them about how they could do this during the assembly.

 

Once they have found a placement they need to log it on UniFrog. Once logged in they need to scroll down to the purple coloured tab called 'Placements' and record the employer information. An automated email will be sent to the employer to complete their details, add risk assessments etc. and then it will be forwarded to the parent/carer to approve. Once you have approved it the details will then come through to me for the school to approve.

 

I have attached the Powerpoint from the assembly as it contains a link to a video on UniFrog and also a sheet that the pupils found useful last year when completing the UniFrog form.

 

Please support and encourage your child to find a placement as those who did it last year found it a really valuable experience.
