In English we strive to build resilience and determination whilst developing students’ abilities in reading, writing and speaking and listening. Throughout the 5 years of their English experience, students will be exposed to a wide range of literary and non-fiction texts, not only to enrich students’ understanding and appreciation of our literary heritage, but to also encourage a passion for reading. As well as this, we will endeavour to nurture and expand students’ skills in analysing, evaluating and exploring texts.
