On Thursday and Friday, Rushden Academy welcomed in representatives from Ryman National Enterprise Challenge to work with our Y8 and Y10 students to create business campaigns.

The days started with various team building activities, before the students were given their brief and asked to create, develop, structure and present their product. Each group has a chance to present their product before a panel of judges, who then choose a winning group. This group will then have the opportunity to present their product at the grand finals alongside other schools later this year.

Year 8 students were challenged to create an advertising campaign for Ryman Stationery. All the students quickly got involved and some amazing ideas were presented at the end of the day.

Year 10 students were tasked with designing a community project or residential campaign that would encourage women into football for UCFB (University Campus Football Business) who are based at Wembley Stadium. Our year 10’s rose to the challenge and came up with some innovative ideas.

Congratulations to both winning teams who will be representing Rushden Academy on 10th July at Wembley Stadium.

Mr C Brotherston
