Yesterday morning saw students from Years 8-13 take part in the academies annual careers fair. The fair gave students the opportunity to talk with over 35 local and national employers and education providers about the opportunities within these companies and institutions as well as the wider world of work and education itself. Y11-13 students also received the opportunity to take part in a talk on apprenticeships.

It was a great pleasure to listen to the feedback from all the trade stands at the end of the event to hear about how well the students conducted themselves and how well prepared they were to ask challenging questions about the different careers and education programmes on offer especially the younger students.
