Set 3: Sankey diagrams, Energy efficiency, SLOP re calculations lesson slides with a mix of diagrams to copy, key points for the lesson to copy, questions to answer and exam style questions.

Set 4: Miss Hunter please use the time to revise for the test In January by watching the following clips and making sure you have completed the educake revision Qs I had set for you. If you need your password resetting please email me / comment below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Mr Chapman: please can you watch the video clip on particle theory and then answer the exam  questions in your book.  Use the mark scheme to red pen them when you are done.

Watch the instructional video, then answer the multichoice questions.  Your task is to get them all correct by the end of the week.  You can retake the test every 24 hours.  Also available on these clips are some exam style questions to attempt.  There is a mark scheme with the answers once you have had a go.

Finally, watch the Youtube clip of the required practical on Specific Heat Capacity that we were due to carry out this week.  We will do this now in the new year.

Students have been asked to respond to 4 questions (questions in the instructions on Google Classroom, not the powerpoint) about what they want/are going to give and receive for Christmas, what they usually do/will do  this year due to COVID, using structures we have been working on for weeks.

Create a Christmas menu (which could subsequently be used as a place setting) in the blank Google Drawing allocated to each student. This exercise develops the following skills:

Page setup to set the page size and orientation;

Insertion of Christmas themed images;

Adjustment of the transparency of the images;

Insertion of tables and merging of cells within the tables;

Populating the tables with menu choices and insertion of shapes for diners to use as a tick box or to colour in reflecting their choices.

Google Classroom - step by step instructions are included as is an example of what I might expect to see when the task is complete.

In art we are looking at natural form. You will need to draw from one of the sheets of natural form uploaded to the Google classroom.

You can use any media that you have available to you at home.

You should be looking at shape, form and tone and colour if you are using it.

There are examples of natural form on the Google classroom for you to work from.

Your work will need to be returned to your art teacher in January to be marked. Your feedback will be written on your marksheet.

Within PE we are looking at HEALTHY ME and looking at promoting the importance of leading healthy active lifestyles. Students must maintain a level of physical activity each day, following the physically active wellbeing calendar.

The calendar is placed in each of the google classrooms as well as in the school newsletter each week.

Students should keep a record of how many days they maintain physical activity and inform their teacher upon their return or notify them on google classroom.
