- Complete one of the activities from the context challenge.

In your Google classroom your teacher will share:

- An electronic copy of the modern version of Act 4 of Romeo and Juliet

- A ‘reading challenge’ PowerPoint

- A ‘context challenge’ PowerPoint

- A pre-recorded lesson with Miss Neville speaking through the act to help your understanding and explaining what to do for each task.

- You should be able to answer the reading challenge questions in full, well developed sentences, drawing on your knowledge of the play and using examples to support your points. Try to challenge yourself and don’t just answer questions from the ‘bronze’ category.

- Context challenge responses should be well developed with evidence from the context PowerPoint to help support your points. Successful responses will be 1-3 paragraphs long.

Your teacher will set up an assignment on Google Classroom when they want work submitted every 2-3 weeks. However, if you want feedback on work to check your understanding, email your English teacher.

All students taking the higher tier exam will receive exactly the same work, this will be delivered either in school or as a virtual recorded lesson online and linked to Google classroom.

If they are returning to school the lesson will be delivered in the classroom, if not it will be as a virtual recorded lesson online and linked to Google classroom.

There will be 3 lessons:

Lesson 1 – simplifying surds

Lesson 2 – surds – rationalising the denominator

Lesson 3 – trigonometry – finding a missing side
