All students taking the higher tier exam will receive exactly the same work, this will be delivered either in school or as a virtual recorded lesson online and linked to Google classroom.

There will be 3 lessons:

Starter activity – 20 quick questions to recap previous learning

Lesson 1 – arc and sectors

-        To be able to calculate the area of a sector

-        To be able to calculate the length of an arc

Starter activity – this will be linked to google classroom as a word document

All lessons are pre-recorded and will be linked to google classroom, work through the PowerPoint, answering questions where necessary and then complete the exam style questions at the end – again linked to Google classroom.

Task 1 – starter activity to recap mixture of questions from previous topics – 20 questions

Task 2 – virtual lessons provided by class teacher: stem and leaf diagrams

-        To be able read a stem and leaf diagrams

-        To be able to draw a stem and leaf diagrams

-        To find the median and range using a stem and leaf diagram

Exam style questions relating stem and leaf diagrams

Task 1 – 20 questions will be uploaded onto google classroom, attempt as many as possible and submit to teacher via Google classroom

Task 2 – virtual recorded lesson will be provided, linked to Google classroom, questions will be set at the end to check understanding

You have now completed the topic called Organic Chemistry. You need to complete the revision mat below and then the test.

Assessment

Should you need help there will be a google hangout for the three sets taught by Mr Dunn (email invite being sent Monday, then Miss Wiles will host a hangout for Yamanaka and Mr Brainwood will host one for Berners. Look out for details on the google classrooms and your emails.

Once you have completed the test you need to upload either the word document you have typed your answers on or photos of your written answers. Once you upload your work the mark scheme will be sent to you.

SUBJECT: ENGLISH

30 minutes prep,

1-hour completion

-Complete a whole Romeo and Juliet question A response for an assessment

-Complete a whole Romeo and Juliet question B response

In your Google classroom your teacher will share:

-A pre-recorded lesson with Miss Neville speaking through the assessment activities to help your understanding and explaining what to do for each task.

-A word document with the assessment tasks.

-For question A you should aim to write 2-3 PETAL paragraphs in 30 minutes.

-For question B you should aim to write 2-3 PEACE paragraphs in 30 minutes.

Your teacher will set an ‘assignment’ on Google classroom where you can hand in the assessment. This will be marked over the summer holidays and used as proof of work (if needed) in the next academic year.

Students will be looking at data level protection and how firewalls and anti-virus software can be used.

A presentation and worksheet will be provided on the google classroom.

A question and answer session in the classroom stream will be available from 12.15 pm Tuesday 14th July.

The answers will be shared the following week.
