Opening Times

Monday – Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm

About the Library

The Library is open to students from 8.30 in the morning so that they can return or borrow a book or print off their homework before school starts. We will often have lessons booked into the Library for students to use the computer or book resources to help them with their studies. We also help to support the Year 7 & 8 English classes who are taking part in the Accelerated Reader program by helping students to find books they will enjoy to read. At break and lunch times the Library is open for students who would like catch-up on homework, read quietly, ask staff about reading books or take part in a Library activity. Please see the list below for details.

We also sell a small range of stationery items including pens, pencils and rulers.

For those students who want to do some serious reading, Thursday will be a quieter affair. Our weekly Book Club will be running and for younger students who would like a little encouragement with their reading, some of our lovely Year 10 Student Librarians are on hand to help out.

Friday- Relax and Unwind

For the last day of the week we like to keep things relaxed so you can play a game or there will be word searches, dot-to-dot or colouring available.

Activities may change; we may have a special event or termly activity, so keep an eye on the Library website (Eclipse) for times and information.
